Haircut

Oh dear.

Yes, it's that time again. The time that every man dreads. Haircut time.

At lunchtime I went on a stroll to Gary's, my barber shop of choice in Holywood. Luckily, Gary was busy with another customer (Gary will bend your ear for a solid half hour about taxes, Majorca, his auntie Mavis, Liverpool, fuel prices or whatever else is on his mind). The man is a Holywood celebrity, he literally knows everyone and could talk for Ireland.

Anyway he was busy, so I sat down with one of the two Asian sisters who also work there. These girls really are wizards with scissors, they are very precise and normally do a great job.

So I just asked for a good trim, to leave it messy on top and get the back and sides tidied up. Tidy it up she did. My goodness. She just kept cutting.

20 minutes later and I had a baseball cap-esque 'flick' straight out of the year 1999.
It was crazy, I haven't seen the like of it since P7. (This picture really doesn't it justice, google doesn't seem to have heard of a flick.) Tons of gel, combed right down, with a massive vertical flick, I looked like a total idiot. I walked out the door, looked at my reflection in the next window and immediately smoothed it right down to hide my shame.

The last haircut I had was from an American girl in the kitchen of an old people's home and it was perfect! Gary, my faith in your establishment has been firmly shaken.

Here's Johnny!

Folks, it's official. I am back with a bang!

I write to you on this fine morning of the 29th December and I feel good. The blog bug has once again captured my imagination and I am ready to rock!

Technically Christmas has just about passed. I am sitting in work freezing my ass off, but the Christmas spirit lives on! Anyway here's what went on the last couple of days.

The run up to Christmas is always great. I had a few gigs to attend and then an awesome frisbee tournament on the Saturday. Me and Chris entered a team with some friends and we didn't even come last! Then there was a totally whopper dinner dance when the frisbee was over. There was lots of grub and we all dressed up nice and danced like crazy people. Great times had by all.

Too much partying and not enough sleeping took its toll and I had to fight off the cold with about 40 lemsips to keep me in shape for the festivities! I had to work on Christmas Eve, but came home for some great family bant and the first exchange of presents! I got my brother a voice changer and he kept us all in tears of laughter with his crazy robot singing. We also watched The Dukes of Hazzard, Jessica Simpson is a fox!

The fantastic presents and family banter continued on Christmas and Boxing Day, with both sides of the family coming round for dinner. Lots of food and fun and the best thing about Christmas, sleeping by the fire.

On Sunday night, my friends John and Emma had their engagement party, congratulations guys! It was a very fun night, talking rubbish to lots of new people, eating loads of food, doing trivia with the dads, watching top gear and playing singstar. Me and Marco did a killer Ice Ice Baby but the the performance of the night went to the Hammond brothers!

Yesterday was my last day off, so i capitalized and did absolutely NOTHING!! It was fantastic!! I got up at about 11 and ate some bacon and eggs and then watched an episode of Planet Earth in High-Def, which is INCREDIBLE! I then got dressed, checked my fantasy football team, had a look at all the photos I had taken and then ate more food. Played Monopoly that night and then went to bed! WHAT A DAY!

I'm back on track baby.

Christmas Eve

Hi Guys.

Things have been majorly lacking in the blog department recently. I'm not really sure why, but the posts just haven't happened.

It's Christmas Eve and I am sitting in work, bored on the Internet. There is some really terrible festive music playing, none of the classics. I am also pretty sick and sleep deprived but it's Christmas so I can't complain.

I still have to wrap all my presents and finish off the mixtape for my Dad, so a couple more things to do tonight before the big sleep!

Notepad Fail

Today I had a big story written out about how I went to the shop and bought a notebook and some chocolate buttons. I then got annoyed when I had to stand in a big queue, which turned out to be the wrong queue, and then I bought the wrong buttons.

I will spare you the rest of the story as it was completely rubbish and boring. There are a lot more exciting things you could be doing with your time. Like building a car out of lego.

In other news
  • Because I drink so much tea in work, for a change I decided to buy some red tea. It's not too bad actually, and rich in antitoxins.
  • I am currently ruling at Fantasy Football.
  • I just got an email from the BBC telling me I won 4 tickets to be in the audience for some TV show. But it was last night. Thanks BBC, you really are on the ball.

A Trip To Dublin

Queens Ultimate Frisbee team played their first tournament of the season on Saturday.

Here is basically what happened.
  • Left Belfast far too early (6:45am)
  • My engine overheated like crazy
  • I stressed out
  • We fed it some coolant and it was happy again
  • Drove to Dublin
  • Played some frisbee
  • Met some cool dudes
  • Played some Street Fighter
  • The ninja club told us to keep the noise down
  • Won the spoon and the spirit trophy
  • I lost my clothes
  • Was sad
  • Came back to the car and my tire was flat
  • Was sad
  • Almost got a barrier through the roof of my car
  • Went to a pub to get some food, only to be told that the chef was 'long gone' and they stopped serving at 9, despite the fact it was only 7
  • Talked to a nice man who told us about the Autobahn
  • Went to the Autobahn and had amazing burgers
  • Talked about life
  • Set off home
  • Listened to 'By The Way', which is amazing
  • Didn't fall asleep
  • Dave got a twister
  • Arrived back in the North
  • Went to bed

QFT Set

Played a short DJ set the other night at the Queens Film Theatre with some radio peeps. Was pretty cool until the movie started, then everyone went inside to watch it!

Audio Beef

Some of you may know that I have done a few shows on Queen's Radio, 1134mw. This year, as i'm on my placement, I don't have the time to do a show every week. I instead came up with the idea to have different presenters every week keeping it nice and fresh. This turned into a DJ vs. DJ battle show and Audio Beef was born!

Horses

Things that bug me - 1. People who ride horses along a road

I do not get annoyed because I am some asshole driver, I get annoyed because you are being an idiot. If you have a horse, you should be riding through some amazing forest or up some big mountain. If you ride it on a road, its just like you are in a really slow car. I mean come on! You drive a car on a road every single day of your life, why not take a break and use your horse to explore! Ride through some fields for goodness sake, have you never seen Lord Of The Rings??!!

I like football now?

Yes folks, I'm afraid its true. After all these years of fighting it off, I think I am falling in love with the beautiful game.

Our story begins in the small town of Comber, the Thomas Andrews Memorial Primary School, circa 1997. One frosty morning when I was chilling with my homies at breaktime, my friend Ross asked me, "Doesn't Michael look like Peter Schmeichel?" To which I replied, "Who is Peter Schmeichel?" This brought gasps of horror from my two chums, who then proceeded to enlighten me the ways of professional football. Ross was a Liverpool fan, Michael was Man United. Each tried to convince me to join them, and in the end I chose United.

It was a good timing, as the Red Devils were living through what I like to call "The Glory Days." The team was flipping brilliant, Ryan Giggs, Andy Cole, David Beckham, Teddy Sherringham, all the greats were in there. There is all sorts of great memorabilia still in my house, the little player figurines with massive heads, the completed 2000 Official Sticker Album (the only one I ever filled) and this great red shirt that said "The Treble - 1999!"

Over the years I gradually lost interest in Man U, developing much more exciting fascinations in skateboarding and punk rock. I still watched the world cup every few years, but for the most part, I was NOT a football fan.

That may all have changed ladies and gents. Fast forward about 8 years and here I am, a 20 year old IT support office worker. After a month or two in the job, the football season started and an office fantasy league was set up. I didn't really have much work to do, so I decided to round up some players and make a winning team! The players I chose were mostly the ones that scored the most points the first week and I am now sitting rock bottom in the work league. I think I may be hooked though.

The Purple Cobras
--------------------
1. Shay Given (MC) - Not bad.
2. Ryan Shawcross (SC) - Started good, now rubbish.
3. Glenn Johnston (LI) - Started good, now rubbish, too expensive.
4. William Gallas (AR) - Needs to go, Ashley Cole is in.
5. Patrick Evra (MU) - Started shaky, but is a good lad.
6. Michael Ballack (CH) - Not great, too old.
7. Mark Noble (WH) - Pretty crappy.
8. Vassiriki Diaby (AR) - HAS TO GO, WE NEED GIGGS.
9. Louis Saha (EV) - Just got him in.
10. Didier Drogba (CH) - Awesome. Captain of the ship.
11. Wayne Rooney (MU) - Hasn't scored in a few weeks, now injured.
And some worthless subs.

Midfield is terrible, Defence not great either. Things don't look good.

Anyway, I have been paying a little more attention to the Premier League recently, just to check if my players have scored. One night I caught the weekend highlights and I was hooked! It was fantastic! The games seem to have much higher scores than they used to, there were brilliant goals left right and centre. This pushed me over the edge and it is now safe to say I like football.

Now, I can't be a credible football fan unless I support a team. So, I have been going over my options and these are what I have come up with.

1. Manchester United- My old team, although now they are kinda boring and always win.
2. Manchester City- The new Chelsea, got loads of money and bought all the good players. Pretty exciting to watch.
3. West Ham- My Dad's old team, currently fighting to get out of the bottom 3.

And so the decision has been made. Everyone supports Man U and I would be a glory-hunter supporting Man City, so West Ham it is! Everyone loves an underdog, Go Hammers!!

The posts that never were...

The ole' blog posts haven't really been flowing too good recently. There are lots of things that come into my head that should be posted on here, but i never seem to get round to it. Work has been getting pretty busy so now I have no time to sit on the internet all day. Anyway here is a few of the posts that never happened.

Busiest week of my life

Had a crazy week in work, worst one so far. Half my team were off and for some reason there was about 10 times more calls than usual. Lots of cake made me forget my troubles.

The Copa Cabana

Went to a fun frisbie tournament in Nottingham with CHASE which was good times all round. I picked up my shiny new shirt and felt a surge of pride as i put it on, long live CHASE. The fancy dress theme was Science Fiction so we went as Bill & Ted, we even BUILT a phone box out of wood and pipes, complete with a real phone. I was socrates but we only got an honourable mention for the costume prize, stupid transformers.

Northern Ireland 0 -2 Slovakia

This night was hyped up a bit. I was so excited. But they lost, shattering all dreams of little NI going to the world cup. Ah well, there is always 2014. I was thinking the other day about how I will probably have kids before they ever make it. That wouldn't be so bad, then they could be excited too.

(500) days of summer

First time I have been to the cinema in light-years. Its a brilliant movie, not quite as awesome as Yes Man, but still good. Zooey Deschannel is an indie queen. Got the soundtrack and have been listening to it quite a bit. Regina Spektor has two songs on it and they are unreal, will have to check her out.

The Gaslight Anthem - Live at Park Avenue

I try and hold back my vinyl nerdiness, but when this baby arrived through the door I was almost in tears its so beautiful. Released for Record Store Day 2009, these are super rare and super AWESOME!! Sounds real nice too. Anyway had to post a picture to share my joy.

That's what you missed, now I can get back to regular posts!

August was awesome

Hi everyone. Apologies are due as its been over a month since my last post.
Summer is pretty much over so I hope you all had a nice time on your holidays. I certainly did, Canada was INCREDIBLE!! Yeah real good trip, just picture you and a load of friends camping on an awesome ranch in the middle of nowhere.

Everyday you wake up, eat a 3 course breakfast, then head out to do kayaking/mountain biking/white water rafting/climbing/canoeing/bungee jumping. Then you head back at about 5, eat an amazing dinner, then jump in the hot tub and chill. Once you have digested, get a vollyball game going or hit the beach. When it gets dark, head to the bar for some karioci or to bust some shapes on the dancefloor. Then back to the tent, get the head down for a few hours so you can get up and do it all again. That was my life for 2 weeks, living the dream! The pictures don't look very sunny but don't worry, it was.

But before long it was home time, and sure enough, the next day I was sat back in work, staring at a computer screen all day.

Well that was pretty much August in a few lines, I also headed to Nottingham over the bank holiday for a frisbee tournament, The Copa Cabana! Was a good laugh, some great Ultimate and a lot of fun times were had. More sleeping in the airport, which is always fun. Again, a few hours after I got off the plane I was back in work.

No more holidays to take off until 2010, so hopefully there will be a few more regular blog posts coming your way!!

Take it easy, Ben

Crazy crazy nights

I think its safe to admit that my major weakness is trying to do too much. My weeks at uni are usually crazy, something on every night, away every weekend, trying to cram some work in when i should be alseep. This usually leads to some sort of crazy burnout but generally i can pull it off.

This week is no exception, running around like a crazy man, trying to do a million things AND get to work on time every morning. My parents, brother and sister are all away and i can't even enjoy a week of peace and quiet! Between work, frisbie, dj preparing, video editing, trying to prepare for Canada and squeezing in as many trips down the motorway to bushmills as possible, i am going to be destroyed! I love it really, but a few extra hours in the day would be very handy!

The Canada trip is in 6 days although i haven't had much time to think about it, but i'm sure when this week is over i can start to get pumped. Still need to pick us a pair of Crocs. Yes thats right, I'm taking the plunge, buying a pair of those stupid shoes i said i would never wear! They are brilliant shoes, you just kinda look like a loser and thats a chance i'm willing to take.

In other news, i'm going to see Metallica on Saturday! Hurrah!! I'm not really much of a metalhead these days but my friend Chris got a few tickets and i just couldn't resist! Alice in Chains, Mastodon and Avenged Sevenfold are also playing so i'm sure it will be a lot of fun!!

Pet Shop Boys

Are the Pet Shop Boys actually cool? I never really knew much about them, just thought they were some terrible 80s keyboard boyband.
Anyway I was watching some T in the Park highlights on TV, nothing too exciting, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon, Lily Allen etc, when these guys came on and blew my mind!

They were playing in one of the small tents and it was such a cool set-up, the stage looked amazing and one guy sang while the other was in a little DJ booth. They both look about 60 and and the DJ was wearing this crazy hoody made of mirrors!! These little kids came on stage dressed as skyscrapers and started doing a little dance while they played this amazing song called "Why don't we live together." At the end the DJ came out and joined in dancing with the kids, all doing the robot. It was incredible!! Unfortunately theres no video on the BBC website but check out the song on Spotify, it rules!!

The Quest for Knowledge

I like to think that this blog is not only something to keep me occupied, but also to provide some light entertainment for you, the (colossal) readership. I learnt some new words this week so I thought I would share my knowledge with you fine specimens.
  • Sundry - Various, assorted.
"She picked up some sundry food items at the local market."
  • Svelte - Attractively thin; gracefully slender.
Used mainly as a compliment, whereas words like thin and skinny could be used in negative connotations.
  • Protean - Readily assuming different shapes or forms; displaying considerable diversity or variety
Protean is derived from Proteus, an ancient Greek god who had the ability to change his shape at will.

Well there you are, lap it up people, because knowledge is cool.

Its the brain pain coach

Not feeling the best today, have had a sore head since I got into work this morning. Went for a mammoth walk to seapark at lunchtime to try and clear it but I think I have some sleep to catch up on. Annoying as I want to listen to some tunes but know it will make it worse. Need to get one of these bad boys, massage the old noggin.

The Gaslight Anthem

In my opinion, The Gaslight Anthem are the finest band around these days. They played the live lounge a week or two ago and blew minds all over the county. Written by Katy Perry, released by Kelly Clarkson, this is "I Do Not Hook Up." And don't worry, it sounds NOTHING like the original.

TRANSFORMERS 2 IS AWESOME!!

Sure, its not going to win any Oscars, but IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!
Everything you could ever want in a movie!! Babes, cars, robots who fight each other, explosions, army tanks, blazing guns, aliens, a couple of funny guys, WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED?!!

In the merry month of June. . . .

Hi folks, sorry there has been no action for about a month, things have been pretty hectic.
Here is what you missed in June.

The most awesome thing was that my friends Paul & Sarah got married last week! I hadn't been to a wedding in about 10 years and this one blew me away! It was such a great day and everyone had such a good time, weddings are so fun! Congratulations guys!

Went to Paris on Paul's stag which was a lot of fun. We didn't really do anything too crazy,
just stayed in a caravan and saw some sights. We met some cool american/australian girls and they showed us about a bit. We went out for dinner and made paul wear a dress which was funny, ate some snails too, were actually really good!

Finished my exams okay and passed them all, hurrah! The day I finished, we went down to the sea and Karl brought his new jet-ski, perfect way to let off some steam!

Went on tour with the Belfast Ultimate Frisbee team to London for a few days, definitely helped my game, looking forward to some summer league matches! We had some suitcase issues and i managed to ditch my roll-mat and a few other essentials, so i improvised and raided some bins for cardboard! Also slept in the airport for the first time, some random girls walking past branded me "disgusting."

I started my job with Blue Zinc a couple of weeks ago, so i am no longer a slacker but a regular 9-5 working man. The company seems cool and the people are friendly so the next year shouldn't be too bad. Holywood is a super sweet place to work, i can grab a sandwich from the hundreds of food places and then walk down and eat it on the beach, awesome!

Just home a few days from Duke Of Ady Gold! This is the annual camping trip with my buddies where we go to the mountains and make a big fire, cook lots of meat and swim in the river. This was the third trip and because its the summer, we got totally destroyed by midges, not cool.

On a slightly sad note, i moved out of my student house on Malone Avenue today. A lot of good times have been had in that dump, and it is going to be weird moving back home, but i don't think i will miss it too much. We had a killer beach party to give it a good send off, you can't beat a pumping disco in the living room! Cheers Matt, Karl, Mark, Ady & Chris!

Sunday, 31 May 2009

Childhood is gone my friends.

Hurrah! It's my birthday! Yes, that's right people, Ben McFeeters is 20 years of age today!

Despite the fact that i have an exam tomorrow, today has been brilliant. Went out with the CHASE crew last night for some Volcanic Steaks and they did not disappoint! You get a 400'C hot piece of rock on your table and you cook your steak on it, it's brilliant fun! We then had a bit of a rock band party afterwards, cheers guys!

Got up this morning and headed to church where everybody had breakfast outside on the grass beforehand! It was an absolute scorcher and the summer atmosphere was totally in action, good times had by all. Came back home and lay in the sun for a while and then got a few presents. Exciting stuff, got a pair of slippers and a belt from the parents and a ps3 game and some nice grooming products from my bro and sis.

Grandparents called in for a while to say hello and then I hit the books for a hour or two of revision. Was a good day, chillin' in the sun, what more could a man want?

Regarding the exam, freedom is a short 15 hours away! My housemate Karl has just bought a jet ski, so i think some aquatic fun is definitely in order!

Strange Days

Surprisingly, this is my first post since the dreaded exam period started. I expected to be on here every other day moaning about how terrible life was because I had to revise. Well here i am, 2 exams down, 1 in about 2 hours and 1 more after that.

Yeah exams suck big time. I think I have just about had it with learning for a while. I mean 16 years is enough of school, right? It is starting to become a bit of a drag.

On a different note, its my birthday in 3 days. I am going to be 20 years old, in the words of a song I like, "these teenage years, no they don't last," true dat. I am relatively sad about this turning of age as it means I am getting slighty old and boring, listening to Neil Young, finding kids very loud, getting sore heads and working in an office 9 to 5. But they say theres no time like the present, so the plan is to just keep on rolling baby. There is no time to be looking back, life is good and will be gone before we know it.

So yeah, that's my thoughful bit over, here's a list of things to do when exams are over:
  • Watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off
  • Fit the dukes of hazzard horn to my car
  • Eat a KFC Boneless Banquet
  • Catch up on Lost & Flight of the Conchords
  • Go on a camping trip
  • Take my dog Buzz for a walk
  • Maybe go for a spin on the skateboard
  • Get a new pair of shoes
  • Read a book
  • PARTY!

Late Night Lucozade Energy

Up half the night working on a stupid project. Ady has done all the work and is still going while me and chris are sitting doing nothing on facebook. Anyway heres whats been going on in the world of ben.

-Got some exams coming up, the usual thing, should be revising a lot but it isn't really happening.

-My friends Paul & Sarah are getting married in about a month, that should be a lot of fun. I'm a groomsman and we are planning the stag trip to Paris! There is 6 of us heading over and the plan is to party and sleep in some super cheap hostel. Have to get berets to wear, complete the look.

-I got a placement sorted for next year which is cool. Working for a little IT company in Holywood (Its where all the stars hang) answering phones and making websites, the guys seem pretty cool so it should be alright.

Yeah thats about it, some exciting stuff happening once exams are out of the way, cant wait!
Heres a game to play, useful and fun! - http://images.google.com/imagelabeler

April Update

Hi blog fans!
Sorry for the lack of posts recently, i have come to the conclusion that life is too short to have a good blog, so updates will be pretty sparse from now on. I also quit my photo 365, which turned not fun pretty quick, i think i lasted until half way through march. It would have been good, but it is such a flippin' hassle that i just couldn't hack it.

So here's whats happened in the last while. . .

-Went to Kosovo
-Had some job interviews
-Won a rock band competition with "The Sons Of Thunder!"
-Had a brilliant St. Patricks Day
-Played football a lot
-Went to an awesome Queens Radio Gig/Party - best one yet
-Did some exams
-Been on some trips

Kosovo was the highlight, was there for 10 days on a trip with my church, doing kids work and a bit of everything really. Made some friends, had such a laugh, brilliant time. Its a beautiful place, the mountains are incredible. I'm sitting editing the video right now, will maybe post it up here when its done.

Heading to England tomorrow to play hockey, should be a bit a laugh, then back into uni for 3 weeks. Will be crazy hectic to finish things off, then have 4 sweet exams in May. One month and it will be summer, let the good times roll!

Anyway here's some songs i'm listening to on Spotify (Get it now loser!)

-The Used - Burning Down The House
-The Nightwatchman - The Road I Must Travel
-The Rolling Stones - Beast Of Burden
-The Pogues - Star Of The County Down

And this song which has the best video i have seen in a long time

Future Of The Left - The Hope That House Built

Tuesday, 10 March 2009

Hello again folks

So here is a little update for all my virtual friends out there is blog land. I am sitting in the dreaded computer labs again, and still not really doing any work. Anyway what is up with me these days? Well not a lot really, just chillin', doing some uni work, doing some radio, meeting some friends, sleeping a whole heap, things are good. Went to a Lord Of The Rings marathon on saturday which was really fun, although i was a loser and left after the first one, will have to watch the rest some time. Have been eating lots of takeaway pizzas recently, last 3 nights in a row in fact. Dominos, 4 star and express pizza have been getting some good trade from me!

Anyway this is a really crap post, so heres a sweet list of "lasts" to make up for it

Last song - No Woman No Cry - Bob Marley
Last food - Soup and a big baquette
Last movie - Eagle vs. Shark
Last album - The Answer - Everyday Demons
Last text - "Yo man send ur student num asap!"
Last purchase - Water & Haribo
Last gig - Megadeth
Last game - Rock Band
Last words - Until i can think of something better to post, Goodbye!

I'm in trouble.

Hey gang, sorry it has been a while, my life has been life rollercoaster for the last month. Been here, there and everywhere and just about finding the time to go to uni in between.

Anyway i am sitting in a computer lab at 7:40pm and have been here for the last 2hrs 40minutes. I have wasted all that time so i thought i would waste some more. Life really is too short for blogs. Anyway its pancake day and i could be at home making pancakes and partying with my friends but i have a stupid Java practical to do for monday and i am not leaving this room until its done. I also have to finish another practical and look at some lectures i missed and apply for about 5 jobs, how fun. Anyway this is just a rant about how much work i have to do, blah blah blah.

I am also having crazy thoughts about going to Nepal next year to work for my placement. This is definately a crazy idea as didn't know where it was until i looked it up on wikipedia. Mount Everest is there, though i wouldn't really get to see it much as you have to pay like $25,000 to get to base camp seemly. Seems like a bit of a rip-off to me.

Hurrah! Photo 365 in action!

Finally got round to setting everything up for my Photo365! This is where i take 1 photo everyday and then i can look back and see the story of my year. If you look to the side of the page you should see my latest shots and you can go see what i've been doing all year. Props go to Andy McMillan as i pretty much copied him goodonpaper.org

So flipping cool

I am in a terrible mood right now but have been listening The B-52's and they are pretty much the coolest party band in the entire world.

Exercise early in the morning!

Got up at 8:45 this morning to play frisbie in Coleraine, seems insane, but after the actual shock of getting out of bed it turned out to be a great trip. I miss a bit of exercise on a saturday morning, big up the CHASE boys!

The photos turned out absolutely shocking. Speaking of photos, i have decided to try a Photo365 as one of my New Year resolutions. The idea is that you take 1 photo every day, so you will end up with 365 photos telling the story of 2009. I will stick a link to the photos on the blog if i last to the end of the week, this is unlikely as I almost failed on day 2!

On the note of New Years, had a smashing time on thursday night. Went up to the house to see if there was a party, there wasn't. So headed round the corner to Natalie's House where i found a party full of old school chums, was great! The girls chatted and the boys played outside jumping over post-boxes and playing with my sweet Pedal Racer. Had a totally wick countdown but then shouted along to Auld Lang Syne even though only knew the first line. Said goodbye to the peeps then sped off to Pants for some afterparty fun! It went down a storm, some good bands and DJs and of course my happy face at the door to collect your money. Had fun on toilet & bin duty and by the time 5am came i was 97% asleep. Cleared up the destruction and was asleep for half 7, Result!!!
