Hello blog fans,
I was planning for this post to be sent magically from my new phone, but blogger seems to dislike this idea and I cannot get it to work. Call myself an IT professional ehh?
Hopefully I will work it out soon and be able to post lovely words and pictures when I'm on the move! Pretty cool having a camera on your phone, I have now caught up with the trend.
Another Christmas present I received, this time from my granny, was a rope. Yes that's right, 20 metres of the stuff! I'm not totally sure what it's for, but I'm sure I will find something.
Setting up mobile blogging is a bit of an arse, I couldn't get it to work on Wordpress at all so ended up moving to blogger.
ReplyDeleteApparently its as easy as sending an mms to blogger but I could never get that to work as blogger didn't like my phone or Three or some other silly reason.
I ended up sending emails via my phone to a user specific blogger email address. You can add pictures but I'm not certain about vids. Obviously if you don't have decent signal it will take an age to send.
Blogger > settings > email&mobile > Posting Options > Emails Posting address > add in some random characters and that should be you done with Blogger, obviously you need to know this address ;)
Now all you have to do is make sure you can send emails from an account on your phone, this should be fairly simple as I was doing it from a Nokia 6600. I used a fresh hotmail account so if I synced the mailbox it wouldn't fill my phone with all the random crap that been sitting in my inbox for the last 5 years. Obviously its a good idea to add the address to your phonebook, so you're not forever retyping it into your phone.
